Which yachts suit a proposal or a wedding?

Prices are for the whole yacht per night, including crew, meals and fuel for the standard route.

What the crew can arrange

Crews in Komodo are used to celebrations. Tell us your plan and we brief the captain and chef before departure so it stays a surprise. Common requests include flowers, a cake, a special menu, a beach setup and timing the yacht to be at the right anchorage at sunset. Bring the ring yourself and keep it in a safe place on board, not in a beach bag.

For a legal wedding in Indonesia, the official paperwork is separate from the charter. Many couples marry legally at home and hold a symbolic ceremony on board.

For a small wedding party, we can coordinate a florist, decorations and a celebrant from Bali or Labuan Bajo, booked separately from the charter. Guests who arrive on different days can board together after a night in Labuan Bajo.

Planning tips

• Choose 4 or 5 nights so the special evening is not on your first or last day
• Book a photographer separately and tell us so they can join a day trip or the full charter
• Avoid July and August if you want quieter anchorages; May, June and September work well
• Budget for park fees of roughly US$50 to 120 per guest and a crew gratuity of about 10%

Combining with a honeymoon

Many couples propose or marry on a larger yacht with family, then continue on a smaller yacht for two. Because Komodo charters depart from Labuan Bajo, switching yachts is simple. Alexa, configured for two guests only, is a natural choice for the second part. Remember that each charter stays in one region; Raja Ampat would be a separate trip from Sorong, best from October to April.
