Vela is a modern 50m Phinisi built for adventurous, bespoke charters through the remote islands of the Indonesian archipelago.
Built in 2022, Vela is a 50-meter Phinisi sailing yacht designed for modern explorers. She accommodates up to 12 guests across 6 cabins, supported by a crew of 18 for personalized journeys to the remote corners of Indonesia, from Komodo to Raja Ampat.
Conceived by an American engineer and constructed by renowned Konjo boat-builders in South Sulawesi, Vela merges centuries-old tradition with contemporary naval design. Her sleek hull, crafted from locally sourced ironwood and teak, ensures stable and efficient passage to far-flung islands.
The yacht's interiors celebrate Indonesian craftsmanship with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. Each suite features custom teak furniture, Italian fabrics, and en-suite bathrooms appointed with handmade terracotta and select marble. The Owner's Suite includes a private terrace with unobstructed 180-degree views.
Life aboard is tailored to each guest, balancing adventure with quiet luxury. Days can be spent diving the Coral Triangle, hiking to panoramic viewpoints, or simply relaxing on a secluded beach, with every detail curated for a memorable experience.
